However, the most obvious reason may lie in its very high price tag. For a mid-range device, it should have had a much farther price gap between the flagship Nexus 6P. The 5X is just too expensive, at least way back then.

While this isn’t the absolute cheapest we’ve seen this device go for, it’s pretty damn close.
