Open iTunes on the Mac or PC. This should not be just anybody’s computer as your backup is stored locally where you backed up your device.
Step 2 (Set up your device)
Make sure iCloud is turned off on your iPhone or iPad. You can’t create backups using iTunes when iCloud is enabled. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and turn off the iCloud Backup switch.

Step 3 (Restore backup)
Select the device you want to restore (in case you have multiple Apple devices connected to your computer). Select Restore Backup in iTunes. Choose the backup (this depends on the date or the relevance of the backup you want to restore).
Step 4 (Done)
Click Restore and wait for the restore time to finish. Keep your device connected after it restarts and wait for it to sync with your computer. You can disconnect after the sync finishes.
