Huawei, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer in the world have been releasing various models of devices from super low cost to mid-range, all up to the premium tier. And yet added to this mountain of option is the high end Honor 8.

This new Honor 8 have a Kirin 950 chipset that have been certified by Tenaa and is closely related to the Honor V8 family. It would also most likely have a Max or Plus at the end of its name. The Huawei Honor V8 Max.

The Max would have a 6.6-inch display with Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution. This can mean it is quite bit of a battery hog but to compensate for this high resolving display, Huawei is packing a 4,400 mAh battery pack inside the 7.2 mm thin Honor V8 Max. Coming just around 219 grams, it can last you a day of use without even recharging in the middle.

What’s interesting is the V8 Max looks to settle for just one humdrum 13MP rear-facing camera, paired with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, plus 3 instead of 4GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage.
