Before the latest Pixel phones took the spotlight, there was the original Google Pixel XL! This classic smartphone helped establish Google’s reputation for delivering a clean Android experience, impressive camera performance, and a premium design. Even though it’s an older device, it can still hold sentimental value for its owner. But what happens when its screen gets damaged? It’s time to bring this O.G. Pixel back to life!

At Sydney CBD Repair Centre, our technicians carefully inspected the Google Pixel XL before getting started with the screen replacement. The damaged display was removed with care, and a quality replacement screen was fitted to restore the phone’s appearance and functionality. Every step required precision to ensure the repair was completed properly.

After the replacement, the display and touch response were tested to check that everything was working as expected. Seeing an older smartphone return to usable condition is always satisfying, especially when it brings a little piece of Google’s smartphone history back into action.

The O.G. Pixel still deserves some love! Instead of giving up on an old favourite, a professional screen replacement may give it another chance. At Sydney CBD Repair Centre, we believe every repair has a story, and this classic Pixel XL is ready for its next chapter!
