2017 Asia VR & AR Fair will be joined by major VR companies

Imagine Microsoft, Oculus, HTC and the rest of the VR industry joining together in one giant event next year. Are you joining as well? It’s gonna be fun.


The VR or virtual reality market will most likely be at its biggest in China. It would be the center of everything that would be in its growth and sustainability. That’s why some companies like HTC have their investments poured to this part of Asia. Initiatives like the Industry of Virtual Reality Alliance and the Intercontinental Hotel Group VR areas are one of HTC’s huge investments. So on the 2017’s Asia VR and AR Fair, it will be a tour around China and Africa.

This time it will be on Guangzhou and it will simultaneously run with the 2017 Asia Amusement and Attractions Expo on March 8-11. Together, the two expos will cover 10 halls over a 100,000-square meter area with 2 halls for the Asia VR and AR Fair. It will be a grand spectacle of 600 exhibitors that will showcase their latest VR and AR products.

Aside from the main scheduled events, the 2017 Asia VR and AR Fair will have mini events going on for 4 days which will include: VR/AR Summit Forum, the VR/AR High-end Technology and Products Press Conference, VR+ Two-Dimensional Show, Investment Project Show & VR/AR Matchmaking Meeting and Industry’s Most Authoritative Awards Ceremony with Dinner.

After Guangzhou the fair will head to Wuhan, from 12th – 14th May, and then Africa – although no dates or locations have yet been announced.
