Samsung Galaxy Note 7: The Camera Basics

The mighty Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is finally unveiled. The company did skip the number 6 for this release but the camera is even better. Some UI cleanup was made so here’s the camera basics for those who might want to get one.

For some who have used a lot of mobile camera from different smartphone manufacturers may see this new camera UI of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as very clean. It is indeed cleaner compared to the previous Note 5 (yes, they have skipped the 6 for an already known reason).

On the left side of the Galaxy Note 7 app is the HDR, Flash and Settings Menu.

HDR can now also be used in video mode.

On the right side are the shutter and gallery.

Right to left swipe shows you shooting filters.

Swipe up or down toggles between the main and front cameras.

High Dynamic Range can now be used for video with up to 1080p 30fps resolution. Just toggle to video mode and set app to shoot using HDR.
