From 6pm each night, light installations and projections illuminate the world famous Sydney Opera House↗, Circular Quay↗, The Rocks↗, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney↗, Darling Harbour↗, Chatswood↗, Barangaroo↗ and Taronga Zoo↗.
Partying parrots, giant electric flowers and an illuminated forest of spiralling trees lead you into a world of fantasy during Vivid Sydney at the Royal Botanic Garden.
Pass through the QEII gates of the Garden and follow a pathway that weaves through an exciting nocturnal environment, revealing wonders created by artists and inspired by nature.
First, wander through the Nautilus Forest dodging strange spiral-like creations that might be trees, but could just as easily be corals or some curious form of animal life. This forest feels alive, rippling and pulsing with colour. On the other side of the forest is The Bloom, a giant, electric, metallic flower, its petals adorned with mirrors that refract and reflect light. It’s so big you can walk right in and pose for a photo at the centre of the flower, where you’ll be framed by petals of light. After your photo, get ready to ride the waves with He’e nalu, an ode to surfing that allows even non-surfers to experience the joyous sensation of riding a wave.
As you progress through the installation, a wave tunnel appears to open up before you; sometimes the wave rolls towards you, at others, it rolls away. Which takes us to Nacre, a breath-taking natural/non-natural Sea Shell agglomeration, and creation’s most perfect marriage of natural aerodynamic shapes will guide you to Parrot Party, a musical/spatial mystery installation. This cheerful bird flock, inspired by the New Zealand Kea parrot and the Australian rainbow lorikeet, becomes excited when people gather, breaking into song and radiating colourful light.
Farewell the party and move to the colourful, turreted façade of Government House Sydney, which TAFE NSW students have transformed with their own brand of brilliance. Finally, explore Aqueous an interactive meandering pathway of light and one of the first pattern based physical sculptures of size and scale that creates a landscape of light. This is just a taste of the exotic, the beautiful, the intriguing and the downright strange works of light that will lure you through the Garden. As you meander past the last of the colour, light and movement to find yourself out on Macquarie Street, you may ask yourself, “What just happened?”.
Where: Enter the Garden via the QEII Gates adjacent to the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House.

Vivid Sydney returns in 2018 with a spectacular new precinct at Luna Park, the return of much-loved Customs House, and a fantastical blend of everyday objects and Australian-inspired motifs on the sails of the Sydney Opera House.
Popular precincts Taronga Zoo, Darling Harbour, Chatswood, Barangaroo and Kings Cross will return in 2018.

My 2 year old Nexus 6P had a dying battery – I really like the phone and didn’t particularly want to upgrade yet. After a bit of research and talking to local repairers, I decided to to send it to David and the team here for a battery replacement. Initial conversation via the web-chat worked well and explained the process – price was reasonable. They received it on Wednesday last week, turned the job around the same day and it was back with me, by express post on Friday. They had one minor issue – they left out the sim tray – but they noticed it immediately, notified me by email and sent it in a separate express post envelope so that it arrived the same day. The quality of the work that they did is superb – they cleaned the phone (including the USB-C socket that gets filled with gunk) and I can’t see a single scratch or pry mark on the case where they opened in. Excellent service. I managed to drop my Google Pixel twice in two days and broke the front and back glass panels. No local repair shop was able to fix the back panel so I used the mail in service. These guys fixed the front glass and replaced the back case on the phone so it looks brand new, and for only $80 more than I was quoted by other shops to replace the front glass only.
I live in Far North Queensland and posted the phone on Weds, they had it fixed and back in the post by Friday afternoon. They kept me up to date via email throughout the whole thing. Thoroughly recommend. Click Here To See More on Google…

.Screen broken yesterday night, unable to unlock it, I’ve been in many shops where I’ve been told they didn’t have screens for my #oneplusone… When I came in the shop, David told me they could replace my screen in 1h-1h30. He did it in less than an hour and he also replaced the back of the phone because I had many cracks.
I highly recommend this team.
