Space Pirate Trainer will take you to an adventure to deep space as you defend your ship in training as you kill drones that are trying to take you down. The interactivity of the game is totally immersive and will definitely be the one you play again and again with your HTC Vive. The controllers do the game some favor with the accurate tracking and various movements that will activate the shield and controlling the different weapons is intuitive after a few practice rounds. As in virtual reality, this game is totally a revolution and has set the standard on how future games should be created. That is, with details and excitement in mind.

What’s great about Space Pirate Trainer is the thrilling vibe when you are already in the game. The graphics and textures are all on point with the sparks and lights getting into you makes the whole game pop out. It does not only captivate you with the flashy graphics but the 3D sound. You get to utilize what little room you have to go around your virtual environment. The controls, as always, was polished for this classic game for your HTC Vive. You can choose different weapons for the right scenario and you can fend off incoming bullets from drones with your shield. In terms of utilization of the HTC Vive hardware, Space Pirate Trainer has done a great job.
Just don’t forget that if you have a small area to play around to be careful with your controllers banging onto something.
Space Pirate Trainer can use some updates in the future that lets the players be in a moving platform instead of the static platform where you can always stand. So far, to keep the game fresh, avoiding the same setting over and over again would be nice. Weapon upgrade is non-existent in the game. A power up for the weapon of your choice will come in handy as you go up the levels. More powerful weapons as the game progresses will make you more efficient in killing off drones.
